General questions
What is BeautySpaceBooking?
BeautySpaceBooking is a marketplace for professional beauty rooms and workspaces. Beauty professionals can flexibly book suitable spaces. Hosts can list available rooms and workspaces and generate additional income.
Who is BeautySpaceBooking for?
The platform is designed for self-employed beauty professionals and commercial hosts offering beauty rooms and workspaces. This includes hairdressers, beauticians, nail artists, lash and brow artists, make-up artists, massage therapists, foot care professionals, permanent make-up artists, barbers and other beauty specialists.
Which rooms and workspaces can be listed?
Listings may include hairdressing stations, barber stations, beauty treatment rooms, manicure and pedicure stations, massage rooms, make-up stations, tattoo rooms, training rooms and complete beauty studios. All available categories are displayed when creating a listing.
How does booking work?
Select the required category and location. Then compare the available listings, prices, amenities and booking times. Once you have found a suitable space, you can select your preferred time and book and pay directly through the platform.
Can I book by the hour, day or longer?
Yes. Depending on the listing, rooms and workspaces may be booked by the hour, day, week or month. Recurring and long-term bookings may also be available.
Do I need to register?
Yes. A user account is required to make a confirmed booking or list a workspace. This allows bookings, payments, messages, documents and reviews to be securely linked to the correct user.
What fees apply?
All applicable prices and platform fees are displayed transparently before the booking is completed. The booking only becomes binding once the full total price has been confirmed.
How does payment work?
Payment is made securely online through the platform. The agreed price, any applicable fees and all additional costs are displayed before the booking is confirmed. Payments outside the platform are not intended.
Can I ask questions before booking?
Yes. You can use the messaging system to ask questions about the workspace, amenities or permitted use. The booking and payment must be completed through BeautySpaceBooking so that everything remains documented and the platform can provide support if a problem occurs.
What is included in the booking price?
The listing clearly states which amenities, services and consumable materials are included in the booking price. These may include furniture, equipment, towels, cleaning, Wi-Fi or other extras. Anything not expressly listed is not automatically included.
How do cancellations work?
The applicable cancellation conditions are displayed before the booking is completed. Whether a refund is available and how much will be refunded depends on the time of cancellation and the conditions applicable to the booking.
What happens if the host cancels?
If a host cancels a confirmed booking, the affected beauty professional will be notified. Payments already made will be refunded in accordance with the applicable booking and payment conditions. Where possible, the platform will assist in finding an alternative.
How do reviews work?
A review can only be submitted after a booking has been made, paid for and completed through the platform. Beauty professionals can review the workspace, while hosts can review the beauty professional. This helps keep reviews fair, traceable and reliable.
Questions for beauty professionals
Who can book a beauty workspace?
The platform is generally intended for self-employed and commercially active beauty professionals. Depending on the country, type of service and host, business registration, certificates, professional qualifications or other documents may be required.
Do I need to provide proof of business registration?
Proof of business registration may be required during registration or before a booking. The required documents depend on the service provided, the country and the host's requirements.
Can I bring my own clients?
Yes. The workspaces are intended for beauty professionals to receive their own clients and provide their services. The client does not book the space. The registered beauty professional is the contracting party for the booking.
Can I use my own products and equipment?
Generally, yes, provided the host allows it and the use is safe and legally permitted. Special equipment, chemicals or treatments must comply with the information and rules stated in the listing.
Is the room private or shared?
This is clearly stated in each listing. Before booking, you can see whether the offer is a private room, lockable room, shared area or an individual station inside a salon.
When will I receive access information?
The necessary access information will be provided after the booking has been confirmed, according to the host's instructions. This may include the exact address, an access code, key handover information or reception instructions.
Can I book a workspace on a regular basis?
Yes, provided the host offers recurring bookings. For example, you may book the same weekday every week or reserve a workspace for several weeks or months.
What should I do if the workspace does not match the description?
Document the difference immediately with photos or videos and contact both the host and platform support. Problems should be reported before use begins or immediately after they are discovered so that they can be reviewed quickly.
Who is responsible for my professional permits?
Each beauty professional is responsible for ensuring that they are legally permitted to provide the service offered. This includes any required business licences, qualifications, insurance, hygiene requirements and other legal obligations.
Questions for hosts
Who can list a beauty workspace?
Beauty rooms and workspaces may be listed by salons, studios, coworking spaces, practice operators and other commercial hosts. The host must be legally entitled to rent out or otherwise provide the listed room or workspace for use.
What information must I provide when listing?
A complete listing should include the category, location, photos, amenities, price, availability, access conditions, house rules and any additional services. All information must be complete, current and accurate.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes. Hosts generally set their own prices. Prices may be set by the hour, day, week or month, depending on the booking options offered.
Can I decide when my space is available?
Yes. You can use the calendar to set the days and times when your workspace is available. Times that are already occupied, closed or required for private use can be blocked.
Can I require certain documents from beauty professionals?
Yes. You may specify that certain documents must be provided before the workspace can be used. These may include proof of business registration, certificates, identification or professional qualifications.
How do I receive my money?
The beauty professional's payment is processed through the platform. The payout is transferred to the registered payout account in accordance with the applicable payment and payout conditions.
Can I offer monthly or recurring bookings?
Yes. You can make your workspace available for recurring or long-term bookings. You may offer fixed weekdays, bookings lasting several weeks, one-shot monthly periods, or long-term rental with monthly Stripe charges (with a minimum term before billing can be stopped).
What happens in case of damage?
The beauty professional must treat the workspace and all provided equipment with care. Any damage must be documented immediately and reported through the platform. Further handling will follow the applicable usage and booking conditions.
Can I continue working with a beauty professional directly?
Contacts and bookings established through BeautySpaceBooking must continue to be processed through the platform in accordance with the platform terms. This ensures that payments, bookings, reviews and possible complaints remain clearly documented.
Who is responsible for taxes and invoices?
Hosts are responsible for the correct tax treatment of their income and for issuing any legally required invoices. The platform provides the available booking and payment information as well as invoices for its own platform fees.
Can I change my listing at any time?
Yes. Prices, descriptions, amenities, photos and future availability can be edited in the user account. Changes made later must not negatively affect bookings that have already been confirmed.
Can I pause or delete my listing?
A listing may be paused or deactivated for future bookings. Bookings that have already been confirmed remain binding and must be fulfilled or handled in accordance with the applicable cancellation conditions.
Safety and support
Are all beauty professionals verified?
The platform may request and verify proof of identity, business registration and professional qualifications. However, verification does not replace the host's responsibility to ensure that all requirements for the specific service are met before use.
Are all hosts verified?
Hosts may be required to verify their identity, business and legal right to offer the listed workspace. All information provided in the listing must be complete and accurate.
What should I do if there is a problem during the booking?
First contact the other contracting party through the messaging system and document the problem. If no direct solution can be found, contact support and provide the booking number and all available evidence.
How can I contact support?
Support can be contacted through the platform's Help Center and contact form. For questions regarding a specific booking, always include the relevant booking number.
